Martial arts offer people with special needs a variety of benefits! Our adaptive karate program differentiates karate instruction for children and adults with a range of physical, cognitive, and special learning needs. We offer individualized custom-tailored karate to students with a variety of different needs. Registered with the Adaptive Martial Arts Association, our education expert, Dr. Christianakis formulates instructional plans for students with different abilities. Our adaptive karate program builds positively on the strengths that each person brings, while minimizing limitations in the least restrictive learning environment. We aim to realize every student’s highest potential in the martial arts! American Kenpo Karate instructors have years of martial arts experience working with students with a variety of special needs, both on and off the mat.
