ADD, ADHD, ASPERGER’S, AUTISM, Hearing/Visual challenges, Blindness, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and other physical and cognitive challenges.
Registered with the ADAPTIVE MARTIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION, our education expert, DR. MARY CHRISTIANAKIS, formulates individual adaptive karate instructional plans for students with different abilities. Over the years, we have developed resources for effective methods of differentiating instruction & assessment to meet the unique needs of our adaptive karate students. Our adaptive karate program builds positively on the strengths that each person brings, while minimizing limitations in the LEAST RESTRICTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. We aim to realize every student’s highest potential in the martial arts!
