CLUTCHING FEATHERS  (Front Left Hand Hair Grab)

  1. While standing naturally, step with your left foot to 6 o’clock into a right neutral bow. Simultaneously pin your opponent’s left hand to your head with your left band. Be sure and properly anchor your left elbow. Simultaneously with this action, execute a right vertical middle knuckle punch to your opponent’s left armpit. This entire move should create an angle of disturbance.
  2. Remove your opponent’s left band from your bead by pushing it away with your left hand in an inwardly fashion. With no loss of motion, follow up with a right vertical outward block to the inside of your opponent’s left arm. These moves are executed while in a right neutral bow.
  3. Pivot into a right forward bow as you execute a left thrusting heel palm to opponent’s face. Your right band will roll into an extended outward block checking against opponent’s left arm.
  4. Pivot back to a neutral bow as you execute a right inward diagonal back-knuckle rake across the bridge of your opponent’s nose or face. Your left hand should be guarding and checking.
  5. Right front crossover in reverse and cover into a right neutral bow.

TRIGGERED SALUTE (Front Right-Hand Direct Push)

  1. While standing naturally, as your opponent pushes your left shoulder from the front with his right hand, pivot on your left foot stepping to 11 o’clock, with your right foot, into a right neutral bow. (Angle of least resistance) Simultaneously with this action, pin opponent’s right hand to your chest with your left band. Be sure and keep your left elbow anchored. Execute a right thrusting heel palm strike to your opponent’ chin. Your right knee should also be checking against opponent’s right knee. All of these moves are executed simultaneously.( multi level striking)
  2. Your right hand moves from point of origin down and across opponent’s right elbow, forming the shape of a crane, to snap your opponent’s right elbow. Pivot into a forward bow with this action.  Your right hand should end up cocked over your right hip.
  3. Execute a right inward horizontal elbow to your opponent’s ribs as you pivot into a right neutral bow. Follow through with no loss of motion and return with a right outward horizontal elbow to the opposite side of your opponent’s ribs.
  4. After the right horizontal elbow strike, pivot into a right forward bow while executing a right horizontal flapping back-knuckle to opponent’s ribs. You should finish this move in a right forward bow with your right hand cocked above your right hip ready for the next move. Opponent’s right hand should still be pinned to your chest.
  5. Execute a right vertical thrusting back-knuckle under opponent’s chin or nose as you pivot into a right neutral bow. Release opponent’s right hand with this move.
  6. Right front crossover in reverse as you cover into a right neutral bow.

DANCE OF DEATH  (Front Straight Right Straight Punch)

  1. Standing naturally, step forward and to your left to 11 o’clock, into a left neutral bow, to get out of the line of attack. Simultaneously strike the outside of your opponent’s punch with a left inward block as your right arm rests and hangs naturally to the right of your body.
  2. With your left hand still guarding (bracing angle check), strike to opponent’s groin with a right vertical handsword while pivoting into a left forward bow.
  3. Immediately step through and to your left to 10 o’clock into a right neutral bow to buckle opponent’s right knee as you execute a right inward horizontal elbow to opponent’s right rib cage. Simultaneously with this action, your left hand grabs the back of opponent’s right knee and pulls toward you so that your left hand slides along opponent’s right leg, concluding the grab at the ankle.(push-pull principal) Your opponent should be lying on the ground, face up with his right ankle trapped under your left armpit. You should finish this move in a right neutral bow stance.

GIFT OF DESTRUCTION (Handshake)

  1. With your right hand shaking opponent’s hand, while standing naturally, hop with your left foot to 11 o’clock as you simultaneously pull your opponent’s hand past your right hip to check his depth zone. Strike your opponent’s right elbow with a left heel palm and execute a right thrusting knee kick to opponent’s groin.  This entire move is executed simultaneously.
  2. Plant your right foot towards 10 o’clock into a right neutral bow against opponent’s right knee. Simultaneously execute a right inward horizontal elbow to your opponent’s jaw. Your left hand should pin opponent’s right arm (pinning check) against his body.
  3. Right front crossover in reverse as you cover into a right neutral bow.

LOCKING HORNS  (Front Headlock)

  1. As your opponent attacks you with a front headlock, your body will be bent forward and feet together. Be sure your chin is tucked and turned to the right.   Step with your right leg to 11 o’clock into a close kneel stance and execute a  right upward vertical reverse  handsword  to  opponent’s  groin. Simultaneously have your left hand check just above opponent’s right knee (palm down, fingers in).
  2. Pivot your body to your left into a modified horse stance and execute  a vertical snapping obscure elbow to opponent’s chest or jaw (if possible) while remaining low in your stance.
  3. Cock your right elbow past your face while circling your left hand counterclockwise in front of opponent’s face to act as a clearing motion to open your opponent up for the next move.
  4. Shuffle forward and execute a right downward diagonal elbow with a left heel palm sandwich to opponent’s jaw.
  5. Right front crossover in reverse as you cover into a right neutral bow.

LONE KIMONO  (Front Left-Hand Lapel Grab)

  1. Standing naturally, step back with your left foot to 6 o’clock into a right neutral bow.  Simultaneously pin your opponent’s left hand to your chest your left hand as you deliver a right upward forearm strike against your opponent’s left elbow (slightly above the joint) causing it to break or sprain.
  2. Circle your right arm over and down with a diagonal inward-downward strike against your opponent’s left forearm. Finish with your right palm up with your left hand checking high. Make sure that your opponent’s left arm is driven down and diagonally to your left. (Angle of Cancellation).
  3. Your opponent is now coming down and toward 7 o’clock. Round the comer as you strike with a right snapping outward handsword to the right side of your opponent’s neck. Keep your left hand as a positional check.
  4. Right front crossover in reverse as you cover into a right neutral bow.

GLANCING SALUTE (Front Right Cross Shoulder Push)

  1. Standing naturally as your opponent pushes your right shoulder with his right hand, step to 11o’clock with your left and pivot clockwise into a right forward bow facing 4 o’clock as you simultaneously execute a left inward forearm strike with a right outward forearm strike to trap and break opponent’s right arm. The left inward forearm will strike against opponent’s right elbow as the right outward forearm strike pins and traps opponent’s upper forearm (wrist area) against your chest.
  2. Pivot to your left towards 12 o’clock onto a left forward bow as you execute a right glancing heel palm strike to opponent’s jaw hinge. Your left hand will check opponent’s right hand against his body.
  3. Hook the back of opponent’s neck as your right hand forms the shape of a crane. Pull opponent’s neck down as you execute a right knee kick to opponent’s stomach or ribs. Be sure your right elbow is anchored as you pull opponent’s neck.
  4. Plant your right knee forward to 10 o’clock against opponent’s right knee as you execute a right inward horizontal contouring elbow with a left heel palm sandwich to opponent’s jaw.
  5. Right front crossover in reverse as you cover into a right neutral bow.

FIVE  SWORDS  (Front Roundhouse Right Punch)

  1. While standing naturally, have your right foot step forward into a right neutral bow towards 11 o’clock, checking the inside of your opponent’s right knee with your right knee. In the process, execute a right inward block to the inside of your opponent’s upper right arm as your left-hand blocks against opponent’s lower right arm with an extended outward block.
  2. Immediately strike to the right side of your opponent’s neck with a right outward handsword.
  3. Pivot into a right forward bow as you execute a left horizontal finger thrust or heel palm to your opponent’ eyes while your right hand cocks to your right hip, fist clenched and palm up.
  4. Having caused your opponent’s head to move away from you, pivot into a right neutral bow as you strike with a right uppercut punch to the solar plexus. In the process your left hand becomes a cocking check, guarding near your right biceps.
  5. With your opponent bent over, immediately have your left foot slide counter clockwise, to 4 o’clock, into a right forward bow as you execute a left outward handsword to the left side of your opponent’s neck. Your right-hand acts as a check.
  6. Without hesitation, and while pivoting into a right neutral bow, have your left-hand hook around the left side of your opponent’s neck, pulling his head down, followed by a right inward  downward handsword to the back of opponent’s neck.
  7. Right front crossover in reverse as you cover into a right neutral bow.

SCRAPING HOOF (Full Nelson)

  1. While in a full nelson, circle both your arms inward and straight down your center line, thrusting down with your fists, as you straighten your knees, back and arch your neck so the back of your head strikes opponent’s nose.
  2. Bend your left knee to apply gravitational marriage as you execute a right hook kick to the inside of your opponent’ left knee. Continue with this motion as you follow through with a right knife edge kick that strikes and slides down opponent’s right chin stomping his right instep. (contouring move)
  3. Repeat this action using the left leg.
  4. Step with your right foot to 8 o’clock into a right reverse bow, to buckle opponent’s right leg, as your right-hand heel palms to opponent’s groin.

GRIP OF DEATH (Left Flank Right Headlock)

  1. With your opponent applying a headlock from your left side, step with your right foot to 10 o’clock into a right close kneel stance, while turning your head to the left, and tucking your chin against your chest. Simultaneously deliver a right hammer fist to your opponent’s groin, and  a left hammer fist to opponent’s left kidney.
  2. Circle your left arm over your opponent’s right shoulder, and have the fingers of your left hand press under opponent’s nose to fulcrum your opponent’s head back, using his shoulder as a fulcrum point. Other options at this point include grabbing the hair on the back of opponent’s head and pulling down. or covering his face with your left hand as you fulcrum, depending on the circumstances.
  3. Immediately pivot into a left forward bow, toward 6:30, using rotational force, while thrusting a right heel palm strike to opponent’s chin. Simultaneously execute a left sliding check down opponent’s right arm, ending at the elbow.
  4. Left front crossover in reverse as you cover into a left neutral bow.

CROSSING TALON (Front Right Cross Wrist Grab)

  1. With opponent’s right hand grabbing your right wrist, counter grab his wrist as your left foot steps forward and right, to 1o’clock, into a left neutral bow simultaneously striking opponent’s right elbow with your left forearm in a forward thrusting motion as your right hand pulls in and towards your right hip.
  2. Force opponent’s right upper arm against your left upper thigh, pinning opponent in this position. If possible strike opponent’s head against your left knee while executing this move.
  3. Deliver a left side elbow strike to opponent’s right temple followed by a left heel palm and five finger rip to opponent’s face.
  4. As you rip out of the previous move, anchor your left elbow into opponent’s right shoulder to check his height zone. Circle your left arm clockwise and execute a left overhead elbow strike to the center of opponent’s back, on the spinal column.
  5. Follow up with a left heel palm strike to opponent’s mastoid as you pull his right arm with your right arm, pulling him into a right thrusting knee kick, creating a sandwich effect.
  6. Left front crossover in reverse as you cover into a left neutral bow.

SHIELDING HAMMER (Front Hooking Left Punch)

  1. Standing naturally, step back with your left foot to 6 o’clock into a right neutral bow as you strike the inside of opponent’s left punch with a right extended outward block. Your left hand should be acting as a precautionary check at your chest.
  2. Immediately deliver a right inward back knuckle rake to the bridge  of opponent’s nose.  Your left hand should be guarding and checking.
  3. Shuffle forward while continuing the motion of your right hand as you execute a right dipping outward horizontal elbow to opponent’s solar Plexus. Your left hand should be checking high and may possibly strike to opponent’s eyes.
  4. Right front crossover in reverse as you cover into a right neutral bow.
