Do you know what you would do if you were violently attacked? Don’t wait to find out. Every day in the U.S., 9 women are murdered, 600 women are raped or sexually assaulted, and thousands experience domestic violence. Don’t be a statistic! Train your body to fight back and get in shape doing it!  Kick, punch, and knee your way to safety.  Using martial arts principles, our girls’, tween’s, and women’s self-defense classes will train you and your body to anticipate and react to violent assault, not only defensively, but offensively.  Research shows that self-defense training helps prevent sexual assault from occurring. Our curriculum also includes sexual assault prevention strategies and modules for girls and college-age women provided by Dr. Mary Christianakis.  Empower yourself and the women around you!

Our Karate Girls self-defense class is designed for the woman who wants to get fit, while also learning how to defend herself from a potential violent attack. Research shows that women who practice self-defense are less likely to be assaulted. Women and girls learn both self-defense and self-offense martial arts strategies in a fun and safe environment. Classes begin with core, and glute warm-ups and include kicking and punching drills, kicking and punching combinations and self defense strategies aimed to defend against, grabs, holds, tackles, punches, and chokes.
